About Me

I'm a French Erasmus student in Krakow until June. I love photography, cinema, drama (I acted in 7 amateur plays during my teenage years) and most generally all kinds of art. I'm not able to answer the question "What kind of music do you listen to ?" since I love at least one artist in every type.

I know how to cook pretty well according to my flatmates, and I'm trying to be vegetarian for ecological reasons (don't worry, I don't mind if you eat meat in front of me, I won't say anything). Also, I'm a crepe master.

I can have a weird sense of humour but I'm very open-minded and thankful.

I can't put my head above aquariums because I'm afraid of fishes and I always think they're going to jump out to eat me. I love sushi though.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an Erasmus student in Krakow and I'd like to meet new people from all over the world.

I didn't travel a lot yet but I plan to, which is why I'm here : I feel like couchsurfing is a good way to get to know a city and local people. I'd be happy if you can give me any tips about your city, but don't sweat it if you don't have any, I can figure it out by myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : Air, Beastie Boys, Damon Albarn, Darkside, Joy Division, La Femme, Mac DeMarco, Massive Attack, Nirvana, NoFX, Ricardo Villalobos, The Clash, The Kooks, The Specials,

Movies : as everyone, I'm a huge fan of Tarantino (Pulp Fiction & Inglorious Basterds), Kubrick (Full Metal Jacket & Eyes Wide Shut), and Lynch (Lost Highway & Blue Velvet). I also love Dolan's movies (Laurence Anyways is definitely his best one so far, but Mommy was incredible as well).
As for Polish movies, so far I've only seen The Lure (po polsku : Córki dancingu), but I'd be happy to extend my knowledge if you have advice. I like some big American movies as well as independent and/or foreign ones. I need to improve my knowledge on classics though.

Books : I wish I took the time to read more. I have around 180 books waiting for me in France (not kidding, flee markets are the best to find cheap classics). I mostly know French literature for now, even if I read On The Road and To Kill A Mockingbird (the latter took me only a day and a half, and I highly recommend it).

TV Shows (this is a big part of my life so I felt I should add it) : Mr Robot, Black Mirror, Game of Thrones, Bojack Horseman, Stranger Things, Utopia, Shelock, Sense 8, Breaking Bad, A Series of Unfortunate Events (the books are great btw), Westworld.
Still waiting for me : last season of Breaking Bad (I knoooooooow), The Young Pope, Twin Peaks, Orphan Black, Waco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach the basics of French Sign Language to kids.

Almost die in Rome. Twice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be happy to share as much as I know with everyone. I can't teach you how to make croissant or baguette, but I'd be happy to cook with you.

Teach me as much as you can ! Cultural knowledge is always a good thing, as well as life tips, travelling stories... I'm a bit shy but I don't bite and I'd be happy to know more about you. And if there's something you want me to tell you, just ask !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking skills for sure. Weird humour, check. Analysis of my life in Poland so far, obviously.

Countries I’ve Visited

England, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
