I am Malte from Germany and currently live in Mannheim. Originally I am from Hamburg, but I moved here for my studies :)

No, seriously, I am a really laid back guy and I like to talk about nearly everything. I used CS during my gap year and it helped me a lot to get in touch with people, so I hope I now can give back some of the awesome experiences I had :)

Helping out people who are traveling! Giving back something to the community :)

I hold the view that if someone is so nice to open their doors for you, you should give something back as well, even if it is just a nice conversation. It is the little things that make the life worth living :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into music.
I used to play in a band and like making music on different instruments.
Most of the bands I listen to are some kind of progressive or post genres but if I want to dance I tend to prefer electro music with a good beat.

I try to read more. Mostly novels or thrillers, often psychology-related books.
Just finished the Millenium trilogy and I really like books by Ken Follett.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a native German speaker, I'm happy to teach some German or talk about Germany!
But most importantly, I can teach you how to open a beer bottle with literately everything ;)
I used to play around with cards, so after a short performance, I might show you some easy tricks :)

Also, I am a bit into self-improvement and happy to share my views or get inspirited by your life style.
