Hi everyone, I am Jasper from Germany. Since my school exchange to Argentina I am a global citizen, always trying to meet new people and share different cultures. After finishing my studies in Germany, I lived and worked in Buenos Aires for three years. In 2018 I moved to South Africa, studying for my Masters degree while exploring Southern Africa with my girlfriend in our 4x4 with rooftop tent.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

For the last 12 years my life has been about travelling, friends from different parts of the world and opening my home. After being an exchange student, my family hosted many host students from different countries (Japan, DomRep, Hong Kong) and I was able to experience incredible hospitality in many places of the world. So when I discovered Couchsurfing it perfectly matched my lifestyle.

The first time I surfed in Portugal was in 2009. In 2010 I took part in the CS Snowfest in Champery, an amazing week of snowboarding and meeting new people from 15 different countries. Since then I mostly hosted couch surfers in Germany and Argentina.

Interessen

I love outdoor sports, especially surfing, hiking and snowboarding. Being in Africa at the moment, I highly enjoy exploring the national parks and learn about wildlife and conservation.

I am open for new experiences and knowledge. I love to share my interest for travelling and cultures and might teach one or two different languages. I am quite good at finding travel deals and help friends and family to allow them to travel cheaply ;)
