About Me

ABOUT ME

I keep on changing this profile description because is damn hard to write something like this without being cheesy!
Anyway...

I'm a laid back girl from Buenos Aires who is always learning new things and trying to be on the move as much as possible, changing cities, occupation, and interests. I am not bipolar, just a bit chaotic.

I am quite independent and not afraid of doing things on my own. Of course I have normal fears like having my heart smashed into pieces, looking like a stupid, behaving like a stupid, and being attacked by ostriches.

When I'm not writing my profile I can be found riding bikes, going to shows, making ceramics, spending time with friends and trying to learn german.

I put my drawings here, occasionally: http://maluchenlo.tumblr.com/

Music, Movies & Books

Books: I used to read a lot but each year I find it more difficult to concentrate. I think that the best books I read so far from Latinamerican authors are 100 years of solitude from Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Rayuela from Julio Cortazar, and Pedro Paramo de Juan Rulfo.
I have read some amazing works from Herman Hesse, Thomas Mann, Albert Camus, John Berger, Paul Auster....
Music: well I try to be very open about this because I have found great things form different genders and languages.
Movies: some names comes to my mind like Michael Haneke, Werner Herzog, Alain Tanner. Andrei Tarkovsky has done things I can't even put into words.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Although I haven't done the camino del Inca, reaching Machu Picchu was a magical experience for me. Sleeping in a hammonk just in front of Salto del Angel (the highest waterfall in the world) in Venezuela is something I'll never forget, listening to the water fall till you fall asleep is unique. Walking alone in Los Roques archipiélago, also in Venezuela, under the brightest sunlight someone could ever imagine. I will always remember the first time I came out of the metro in Rome and saw the Coliseum for the first time.

Countries I've Visited

Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Peru, Poland, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela

Countries I've Lived In

Argentina, Germany, Spain
