I'm on couchsurfing because I like the act of sharing.
Discovering new people, new places and enjoying it from a local point of view are of course huge advantages thatcouchsurfing has over regular ways of travelling.

I listen to all kind of music, however some artist come back more often than other like Stromae, Le peuple de l'herbe, The Avener, Chinese man, Jacques Brel, Orelsan...
About movie I won't sound very original but Tarantino's movies are quite the big deal from my pooint of view. Guy Ritchie is another director I really like.
About reading, i'm into SF (Asimov, Herbert)
I also love comics ( most of those i know are french)
