I was born in south of Italy and then grown up in a small city in the north, close to Venice.
I've lived for a few years in the UK. Recently I've started to work remotely while travelling (buzzword: digital nomad). I've been digital nomading around Thailand, North American and recently I landed in East Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I use Couchsurfing every time I travel, mainly to meet fellow travellers and locals. I attended Couchsurfing meetings in China, Dubai, Singapore and in many places around Europe, always having great time!
I hosted few people here in Europe and I've been hosted when travelling around Mexico and the US.
Travelling, good craft beer, good cinema, live gigs, politics, playing football, good coffee, technology, "deep philosophical conversations".
I have a curious attitude towards life and I can brew great beer!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Locked out of my car in the middle of the desert (Death Valley) with no phone reception, during the night... and survived.
Hiked on the Alps during a snowstorm at over 2000m, in January.. again survived.
Swimmed in a frozen lake in Finland, in December (should I mention I survived?)
Living in China for a while and having to learn few words of Chinese to survive.

"What is the Truth? A mobile army of metaphors, metonyms, and anthropomorphisms, in short, a sum of human relations which have been enhanced, transposed, and embellished poetically and rhetorically, and which after long use seem firm, canonical, and obligatory to a people: truths are illusions about which one has forgotten that this is what they are" -- Friedrich Nietzsche
"You take delight not in a city's seven or seventy wonders, but in the answer it gives to a question of yours. [...] Or the question it asks you, forcing you to answer, like Thebes through the mouth of the Sphinx" -- Italo Calvino, Invisible Cities
"Man is tormented by no greater anxiety than to find someone quickly to whom he can hand over that great gift of freedom with which the ill-fated creature is born." -- Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Grand Inquisitor
