My name is Romana and I´m a 24- year old student from Graz. I´m born in Bosnia, but right after my mom giving birth to me, we left the country because of the civil war. That´s it with the sad part of my lifestory. From now on we´re moving to the sunny side of the street.
I went to school near by Graz and had the huge opportunity to get violin, viola and piano lessons and had the great chance to play in orchestras and ensembles.
Even though I´m studying something completly different than music- it´s Biology and Croatian for education- I´m still in the music business. Since over 3 years I´m giving violin and piano classes in a prime school and I have some music projects where I play and sing in several bands.
Beside all that- I think that´s the sense of signing up here- I adore travelling. Alone, in pairs or in groups...everytime a new and lovely experience. Since I´ve heard about couchsurfing I was always thinking about trying it out, but never hit the right moment to do it...now I´m here.
I love doing sports as well. When I was at the age of 8 I played football (soccer) and started to play different kinds of racket sports (badminton, table tennis, squash and tennis). Of course I do skiing and snowboarding- that´s a MUST when you live in Austria. Not far away from these kinds of sports is kitesurfing, which I learned a few years ago in Greece...

Concerning my personality I would say that I´m friendly, open minded and rooted to the soil and I see in everything I do a little adventure. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

It´s hard to sum it up here. I think there are maaaany many good songs in different genres. Jazz, Swing, Soul, Pop, Ethno, Electronic, Classical, Hip Hop....wow there´s so much more- it´s just about touching my heart (and ears).
Same with movies.
