ABOUT ME
I like lots of things; to dance and see new places, rediscover places i know, to write. to listen to and to tell stories, make and play plays, play boardgames and cards, listen to music, eat.
Being from Holland i love the sun in an almost obsessive way ( wich is okay)I love good food and even better to eat it in good company.
PHILOSOPHY
love loving and living life . enjoy the right ride and the wrong one as much as you can. live and let live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
i make nice lame jokes and like to make dinner for my hosts and hang out with a drink.
With my couchsurfers i like to hang out, meet with my friends, go out, play cards and have dinner. I like it when surfers have their own plans. But, I am not hostel. I do expect some couchsurf mentality of my guest.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
a few months ago i surfed along with a friend in antwerp. we got some groceries on the way to the host. the guy's house was very cool with lots of artsy stuff and he had the best music collection. we all had dinner together and went to drink a few beers in his local bar. very strong belgium beer. yea we had a few good laughs there
Interests
Yeah what can i say, interests can change by the day or remain the same. We'll find out in the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books
i love old music, like toots and the maytals, sam cooke, otis, but also sublime, chopin, bach. and new music like the arctic monkeys, eels, madeleine peyroux etc. frankly i love good music! and i love to get to know new music i don't know yet. enriching media, in any form, is good. documentaries, good books.
My favorite movie at the moment is the fall ( watch it it's great!)
My favorite song of all time is this must be the place from the talking heads
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Near the city of La Paz, there is a road through the mountains that used to be for transport. At some places less than 3 meters wide with a 600meter or deeper cliff it is called: camino de la muerte, the death road. since 5 years there is a new road and the road is barely used by cars anymore and you can ride a bike downhill. 3,5 kilometer decent in less than 4 hours, with deadly views, passing many, many crosses. a true thrill. definately one of the best things i have done
Teach, Learn, Share
i can teach you how to fold a lamp, and other stuff probably.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My wonderful lame jokes, and who knows.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Spain
