About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover landscapes, people, ways of life, to know better how the world goes round.

ABOUT ME

I'm a traveller, part-time worker. I grew up in a small town between town and country, so i like both of them.
I'm interested in philosophy, science, and social behaviour. I'm learning to understand better how to live a happy life.
I'm calm, peaceful, trying to pour this around me.
Very interested in languages.
I'm not that much into sports, but i'll always be in the mood for walking (even long walks without goal).
I love moving by autostop and sleeping in the woods.
I'm enjoying life, laughing, eating, drinking and smoking.
I love to cook and eat all that is eatable.
I can stay hours watching the clouds fly, waiting for mountains to get dark at sunset, spying spiders hunting , browsing imgur, et caetera.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to have the best time possible on earth. Life is short, so fill it well.
Do to others as you'd want done to you.
I'm trying to fit in my environment, if the world comes to its end i'll try to survive.
I believe in love and happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered CS and wanted to test this participative way of discovering the world.
I'm now into surfing, and trying to behave as a good guy couchsurfer. But as soon as i'll settle [Edit : I did], i'll try to be a good host, feeding and entertaining, and showing you my way of life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Experienced couchsurfing around the US, India, Nepal and Poland, storing all the kindness to give it back as soon as I would have a steady couch to provide to travelers.
Now I'm having a lot of guests over. I learned about so many different music to hear, and that's my favourite thing about CS.

Interests

Reading, listening to music, trying to play music, seeking random things on internet, walking in the nature, cooking, eating, drinking, smoking, urban exploring, chatting, hanging out, waiting for shooting stars, and so on.

Music, Movies, and Books

Weird movies, funny movies (Monty Pythons, Poelvoorde, W. Allen, ...), trip movies (Into the wild), i also like bad movies if they make me laugh.

I read Kerouac, B.Werber, G. Orwell, E.E. Schmitt, Paulo Coelho, A. Nothomb, to name a few. And Bukowski, of course.

I love all kinds of music, some examples :
Pink Floyd, Queen, Daft Punk, Aretha Franklin, Manu Chao, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Sweet Smoke, Archive, Wax Tailor, Duke Ellington, The Doors, Brassens, Brel, Piaf, Dream Theater, Blind Guardian. About 1% quoted =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can find very insignificant things amazing.
Open-air nights in the middle of nowhere, stuck when hitchhiking through the countryside, often provides amazing moments.

Actually, and for now, roaming in the underground of Paris is the most amazing thing I've done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can learn how to cook some tasty things, alsacian food for example.
I can try to teach you a bit of french, too.
I'll be interested in teaching you all you could find intersting in me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Some food, some beer, some friends.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, India, Nepal, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Germany
