About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To build lasting friendships with people from all walks of life.

ABOUT ME

I have always been most at home in the theatre. After high school, I studied acting at the Juilliard School in NY. I learned so much about my art and myself that I decided being a professional actor was not the right goal for me. I decided to finish my college degree in Speech Pathology. I will need a master's degree to be a speech pathologist- in the mean time, I teach Learning Disabled high school students how to trust, communicate, study, and prepare for their lives ahead. I continue to watch and participate in theatre. I love nature, animals, and people. I like to spend time with kids and the elderly as well as my peers. I welcome new ideas and the opportunity to reconcile them with old ideas.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very spiritual person. I always try to look for a deeper meaning in all of my life experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I am just learning how to get my feet wet. I would like to hear from people about their experiences with couchsurfing. And once I have an available couch, I would love to have a guest.

Interests

Hiking, biking, walking, playing all kinds of games, artistic activities, reading, going to museums and festivals. I love to learn new skills. I like to visit all different kinds of religious ceremonies and activities. I like to cook and bake and eat. I also like to watch the sun rise and set.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in New York City during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. I don't know if that's an "amazing" thing, but it was significant.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about child development and childhood language and learning disabilities. I have a large background in theatre and the performing arts. If I don't know the answer to a question, I can at least help you find someone who does.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Mexico, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
