CURRENT MISSION
to be happy
ABOUT ME
Since I spent a little over a year and a half living in Germany, I tend to act ''German'' which I take as a compliment. Germans are amazing people. Overall I like to keep the peace but I also really like to get into discussions about politics / culture / religion / controversial things and share perspectives. No personal attacks just grown-up style comparing / contrasting of points. Or not if you don't want to. My friends would describe me as dependable, easy going, free spirited, non-judgemental and more of a listener than a talker.
PHILOSOPHY
Be nice, you'll catch more bees with honey than vinegar. Be brave, or at least pretend to be, no one will know the difference. Friendship is essential to happiness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Up for a beer, glass of wine or cup of coffee and I can show you a little bit of Stuttgart or we could explore the city where you live a bit.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The one time I couch surfed it was in Basel, Switzerland and I was only shown around the city but never stayed on anyones couch. I look forward to couchsurfing and making new friends in the future :-)
Interests
I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends above all. And traveling. I like to spend time chatting with old friends as well and trying new things. I really enjoy spending time with my family and camping with friends and family. Learning about different cultures and religions has also always interested me. I really like animals in general, especially dogs and cats.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw Angela Merkel on my golden Birthday. She literally walked past me as I was leaving the bathroom. I almost fainted. I met a famous surfer named Tom Curren and surfed with him and his family. I taught surfing for 4 years when I was back living in Ventura, California. I've gone Bungi jumping and cliff diving once, but would not want to do either of them again.
Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to practice some German or Spanish, discuss my experiences and political views. If you can cook something really well I'd love to learn how to cook it also and care share my cooking skills.
