ABOUT ME

As a TRAVELER I adjust to my host's life situation. If you are busy, fine, if you have time and are in the mood to talk, fine as well.

As a HOST, I expect you to READ MY PROFILE CAREFULLY and COMPLETELY, that also means the section about the housing conditions since there are important details you should know before coming to my house. If you don't use the password given in the home section, I'll decline your requests!

When I´m hosting you might get the impression I am always busy with something ... and yes, you´re right ... just don´t get confused ... I am still listening and interested, very open-minded and curious. I am well organized (at least I am trying to ... sometimes I feel overwelmed though) and I always try to hold my promises. I love my children and I am also a very dedicated teacher.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been traveling a lot in my twenties and met so many great people on the way. Now I´d like to give something back by offering our sofa.

The first couchsurfing experiences were great. Melanie from Grand Canaria was amazing and Susanna from Hong Kong gave me and my family a glimpse of how much alike we all are despite the many miles that keep us apart after we got to know each other for a few days. Since then we´ve had several other couch surfers staying with us and every single time was a great new experience. When I couchsurfed myself for the first time a few years ago together with my son and this summer again with my daughter ... only good vibes here as well.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Standing on one of the highest mountains nearby (in the Rocky Mountains) makes you understand how insignificant the human race is - so I am happy for every day I can enjoy this miraculous life.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

You want to accompany me for one or more days while I´m teaching at a German school? You want to get to know the German school system? Want to see what the everyday life is like for a German teacher? Want to get to know more about the things that have changed since you were at school? Want to experience puberty at its full? I mainly teach English and History, Ethics and Art to students aged 11-17 at a secondary school. So if you want to combine your trip with this sometimes crazy experience let me know and I'll try to arrange something.
