ABOUT ME

I grew up in Berlin, lived and worked abroad for several years, and am currently working on my PhD in the US (University of Illinois).
I travel lightly with an open heart. When staying with friends in Europe (or the US) I like to use my (average) cooking skills to show my gratitude; nothing better than having good people around a large table with nice food and drinks.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined couchsurfing to meet cool, interesting and laid back people (hosting and surfing) and to be able to go to places/conferences I would otherwise not be able to afford. I did NOT join couchsurfing to get laid, sorry. :) I appreciate the offer but anyone looking for a quick adventure, I'm not the surfer/host you are looking for.

Intereses

Apart from being a nerd who reads and writes a lot, I LOVE live music events and travel for hours to go to concerts if necessary. I bought a roadtrippin van (see pic) and have been on a few tours so far. When in the US, I go to dance weekends, in Berlin, I just need my friends and a nice beach bar.
