ABOUT ME

I'm 29, I work part-time as a Web/News Content Producer for the Mail Tribune and Daily Tidings newspapers locally. I also edit & shoot video for the local Newspaper. I am studying Convergent Media with an emphasis in Video Production at Southern Oregon University. When I'm not working I like to go for bike rides, go swimming, and hiking. I'm also a member of the Ashland Hash Harriers. A group of runners and people who like to drink beer. Every two weeks we get together and run an undisclosed route through our town for about 4-5 miles. At the end is a big party with lots of food and beer.

I'm also a veteran burner, that loves everything Burning Man.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to get the most out of this lifetime, while giving to others at the same time.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got into couchsurfing when I wrote an article about couchsurfers and hosts in Ashland for the Newspaper. It's such a great way to make new friends and show visitors our way of life here in Ashland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting has been a blast! I get to hear about travels and other cultures from my surfers, and get to cook for them and introduce them to this beautiful town and my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of the best movies I've seen lately would be:
The Fountain, Grey Gardens,Donnie Darko, No Country for Old Men, Grindhouse, Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.

I like all kinds of music, lately I've been into a lot of DJ dance music, mostly stuff mixed by Andy Votel, Also I like Bunny Rabbit, Uffie, Mirah, Radiohead, The Decemberists.

Books, I'm reading some AP reporting books, news writing guides and the Hannibal Series for my psychology fix.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a rainbow at night while there was a very bright full moon. I'll never forget it. It was amazing.
