ABOUT ME

I am a biologist, working in the Wildlife Service for the Catalan government. I live alone in a small apartment in Barcelona.
I am a active person with good sense of humor, who likes to talk about life, politics, nature, etc.. and I love the outdoors and practice sports (triathlon, fishing, horse riding, hiking and others).
With a very easy character, and very used to deal with all kind of people.
I like to travel and to see other places, and if they can be wild much better. If in those places I can meet local people that can show me around, teach me new things, or just walking or talking, that is good. And if finally this end with a new and good relationship much better!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Up to now I am really happy with the experience meeting people in Alaska (USA), Bangkok (Thailandia) Salvador de Bahia (Brasil)... and reciving in Barcelona. But the country that I have had the most amazing couchsurfing experience was Iran. Almost all the time that I send a public request, I received many positive answers. Now I have plenty of friends in that country!

To meet locals, is one of the best experiences of any trip.

I also have had some very nice experiences with HelpX (where you work in exchange of accomodation) in England, France, Brasil, Australia, South Africa , Botswana, Canada, and Iceland. There I was working with wildlife or farm with horses. I love to do that! Just living and working as a local for a few weeks.

兴趣

I am interested in nature in general and wildlife in particular. I love travelling all over the world mainly to see amazing landscapes, wildlife and interesting people.
I practice sports every day ( mountain biking, running, squash, fitness, orienteering races,...). I am also interested in bonsai gardening (I have many in my terrace), horse riding, fishing (any kind, but also flyfishing), play harmonica, bird watching, .....

But a simple walk in the forest, just alone or with nice people, it is already fantastic.

I like country music, and I like to play with my harmonica. I do not read books too much, because I like to spend my time in many other things. And my daily reading time is mainly for the newspaper! (I like to know what's happen all over the world)
I do not see movies too much. But when I do I like nice stories.

I can show people around with my motorcycle (scooter) on the afternoon or evening as I am working most of the day. Although unfortunately I do not know too much my own city!. People can also do some sports with me, like running or biking in places where there are a great view of Barcelona. But the best is in the weekends, when we can go together somewhere outside of the city. Catalonia has amazing countryside! If you have the same hobbies, we can practice together. If not we can just hike and talk together.
But please, good english speaking, as I want to improve mine!!!!
And if you seems to be an interesting person to me, maybe you could stay in my home.
