A keen naturalist fortunate enough to study the fascinating world of insects for living. I am also an enthusiastic scuba diver, and enjoy long distance running. Of course, I also spend much time thinking about where to travel next!

Native Malagasy are afraid of snakes. There are loads of terrestrial snakes in Madagascar, but neither of them is venomous or aggressive - thus, humans have nothing to fear. I wonder why this unjustified fear persists in the community...
