I'm an accounting graduate student hoping to mix in some couch surfing to my travels. Sometimes it's nice to see a city through a local lens! Also, I'm terribly indecisive at times so a little direction from a trusted source is always appreciated.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'd love to meet/couch surf with a local to learn about their city through their lens. Following the cookie cutter tourist maps can sometimes leave out the best parts of a city. Haven't tried solo travel much but with a welcomed push I'm sure I'll get the hang of it pretty soon!

Movies: Any Harry Potter movie, and recently saw Call Me By Your Name! More of TV show person; movies just aren't able to develop as deep rooted of a story/plot IMO.

Books: When Breath Becomes Air, Where'd You Go Bernadette?, Everything I Never Told You, Animal Farm, Of Mice and Men, The Sun Also Rises, The Catcher in the Rye, A Recipe for Bees.

Holi in India? For someone who is Indian I probably shouldn't say this as an "amazing" thing I've done but as an Indian-Canadian, I think I'm allowed!

Teach: I can teach you how not to kill your houseplants, and give some pointers about filing your taxes.

Learn: Very interested in learning about different cultures, and how cities other than those that I've lived in operate. It's always fun figuring out the quirks that make each city just a bit different than anywhere else. And I love learning about people and they got to where they are today - every story is super unique.
