About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Bringing amusement to the hearts of many

ABOUT ME

Currently travelling the world for the last 5 years. After a lengthy backpacking trip in SE Asia, which in parts is a true paradise, I landed back home in UK - where I'm replenishing my funds and having fun when I can

Since graduating University I've had 5 stints living overseas, those stints being in South Korea, Taiwan, New Zealand, Australia and Timor-Leste. I am looking for new friends, both local and expat that enjoy a laid back but adventurous lifestyle. Love to sit around and tell stories, debate, laugh, joke, smile. Enjoying the beauty and culture of Asia. Looking for new experiences and the joy of culture shock every day.

If you're interested in meeting up for a drink, staying at my place, feel free to get in touch

Or email of facebook me at mankindmatt5@hotmail.com

PHILOSOPHY

When I pray I don't face Mecca, I face the mirror

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to share my culture, my humour and my aquired wisdom with anyone who wishes to stay with me or anyone fantastic enough to put me up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've hosted a couple of lovely locals at my place in downtown Taipei - usually people heading for outward flights or train journeys to elsewhere. I always take the best care of them and love to enjoy a cup of tea and a chat during a work night (which is most nights) or something more adventurous on other occasions

I also have been using couchsurfing to meet some incredible people from all over the world during my SE Asia trip - and it has proved the source of many laughs, a lot of wisdom, great travel stories and above all a lot of fun with like minded, smart, well travelled and good people
