ABOUT ME

I love travelling and meeting people. I love the outdoors and doing sports (sailing most of all recently).
I recently graduated with a PhD in engineering (aerodynamics) from UVic. I left home in Victoria, BC, Canada on Aug 20 to travel east across the continent. Let's see where I end up.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not sure about this one yet. Or better: it keeps changing. But i love to meet people, to talk with them, hear about different attitudes and learn more about life and for life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like seeing new places. And this is always best, when i also meet new people. Hence i like the combination: seeing new places AND meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't done it much recently, but a few years ago it was big fun! I'm sure it still is.
Sadly I never have lived in a place yet, where I was able to accept guests. Keeping that for the future.

It is amazing how many beautiful places and amazing adventures are out there on this planet!
It hard to name a single, special one. Maybe sailing across the Pacific? But every day another one seems to be best.
