About Me

Optimistic, curious and calm, I love walking and admiring evolving architectures, beautiful landscapes, and the everyday life, rich of various histories and cultures. Imagining how people live behind the windows is a magical part, which makes me feel like a traveller rather than a tourist.
I like helping others, sharing moments; I enjoy good food; and I am conscious of the importance of the environment, which is why I study environmental law, trying to understand the tools and problems that we face to protect the nature and its biodiversity. In addition, I gain wonderful insights as my classmates come from different parts of the world. I believe we are not defined by our nationality, rather we are part of an interdependent world, all on the same boat. I wish more people would be aware of this and would care more for the nature and one another.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn from one another, and to never stop traveling !

Interests

Everything that requires a physical effort makes me feel proud and happy. I love dancing as a way of expression (swing, hip hop, contemporary dancing) and I often start singing without paying attention. And I believe in the motto "Make every dream come true" and I am really determined.
I love being in the wild and witnessing wonderful views.

Music, Movies, and Books

Biopic movies since they teach us part of history, as well as the lives of inspirational people. However, I have a terrible memory for names and titles (songs, films, books, actors, excepted for people I meet!). So descriptions are a communication tool that I am grateful for.
I love music, and I played the saxophone in different orchestras. At the moment, I cannot play so I improvise some little melodies with an Irish flute.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stay up all night, aged 15, somewhere in the desert of Namibia, next to a little camp fire to scare wild animals. Parents were sleeping in tents. We heard strange noises but couldn't see anything. Maybe it was a girafe who was peacefully eating some tasty leaves :-) Anyway, it was really exciting !

Oh, and cycling with no hands!

Teach, Learn, Share

I value learning from new people because we all have unique and incredible lives. I get really inspired by simple people who know that happiness is easy to reach because that is how I feel about life. I hope to have talks about every topic that will show me an aspect of the world, through different eyes. I like learning about life, traditions, opinions, I am very open-minded but I also have my views and experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Memories from abroad, my modest knowledge (environment, art, cultures) since I still have a lot to learn, a large and sincere smile, the taste for life... and my tasty chocolate cookies' recipe!
