About Me
ABOUT ME
Hi there! I am a curious, heart-driven, idealistic person. I like to have change in my life, and enjoy discovering new things and meeting new people.
I was born in Quebec City, Canada. Right now I work in an architecture firm in Montreal and intend to pursue my studies here, I think this city is great.
I am very interested in art in general, and most cultural things, I am a music lover, I also enjoy books and beautiful movies.
I enjoy to travelling in a bit random way (but not too much), I like to stay in a place for a while and take the time to know it more deeply. I did a student exchange in Strasbourg, France for one year and it was one of the best experiences in my life.
I also spent a working holiday summer in Banff, Alberta, and did a 6 month random backpack travel in Europe. So now my mission is to get to know my own continent better!
PHILOSOPHY
Just trying to make my little part of this world a little bit better!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have only been hosted so far, two times, but I would like to give back. I haven't stayed in a place where I could really host so far, but, I hope soon! I think it is a good way to get a bit of travel while staying at home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been couchsurfing once in Girona, Spain and once in London. Both were great experiences, I met amazing and very generous people. It was a blast!
Interests
I hardly live without music; I like art in general, go too exhibitions, visite nice architecture, and I do a little bit of drawing and photography. Also I am trying to have a more and more eco-friendly lifestyle; biking, gardening, composting, and buying local and/or bio as much as I can afford... I also enjoy a good book especially in winter time. Oh and I love food. And beer. And wine. Especially with a great conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music : Indie rock, trip-hop, folk, alternative, experimental pop, soul, jazz, classical...
Books : Mostly Quebec and French litterature; Roy, Tremblay, Pennac, Pagnol, Nothomb...
Movies : I have a weak point for animated and/or very aesthetical movies
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best my travel experiences gave me is just ending up meeting or living with amazing people who were pure strangers before. I can't remember anything else from my travels as much as the people I met.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think it is very rewarding to share with people who are different from you... By culture, or by age, or experiences.
Countries I’ve Visited
