ABOUT ME

Im a 23 year old Dutch girl, currently on a trip through Mexico. After visiting a friend in the capital I have so far been in Yautepec, Tepoztlan, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Isla Mujeres,Merida and now in San Miguel de Allende. Within a week I sadly have to return to Holland because my graduation year is waiting for me. I have spent an exchange semester in Paris before, so I speak French and would like to learn more languages, but sofar the Spanish is yet far from fluent.

PHILOSOPHY

Pfuuu this is a hard one. I think in general nice things will cross your path if you just keep your eyes open. Not too philosophical but more than true.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this moment I am looking for a host in San Miguel de Allende or Guanajuato for the coming days. But as soon as I have brought my Mexican hammock home I will also be able to host someone in my cosy place in Delft.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just left yesterday from a great couchsurfing place in Merida where I went with a travelbuddy that I met earlier. She already had experience in couchsurfing and she now convinced me to try it on my own.. Just great to see places from a different side with a local.

Interests

I am interested in lots of things, design is naturally one of them, considering my studies. I also like to draw but dont do it as much as I would like to.. I play volleyball in Holland and I have had some Salsa lessons in the past.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am quite flexible as it comes to music, I enjoy somewhat older music like Bob Dylan, Creedance, Janis Joplin and Nina Simone but I am not affraid to sing loudly along with some 80s and 90s guilty pleasures too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Paris for a few months.. really enjoyed just wandering around its streets, following the traffic lights that turned green.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would gladly teach anyone some Dutch, although I dont think it will be very useful for most. Dont have any very special talents, unless I could learn you to play the game Set, at which im quite good haha
