ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Greece (Hellas being the real name), a country that is better known for its long ancient history and its record braking modern debt, inside an artistic family environment, I've decided to become engineer (yes, geek-job I know) in a specialty that miraculously didn't have any vacancies in my home country. Does it sound a bit schizophrenic? We move on... :)

So I took a suitcase and moved in the south of France where the sunlight and the sea color makes me feel like home (besides the fact that it's a totally different country). It has been almost 10 years now. I made some good friends who would tell you (after being paid a large amount of money) that I'm actually a nice guy, rather calm, who adores meaningful discussions with no ends, a good book, an emotionally charged movie, travelling without purpose, long distance motorcycling, and beer!

...or just sitting on the balcony, listening to some music, and watching the sky :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now, I hosted young people traveling around Europe. This gave me the chance to meet a large variety of different personalities and cultures, only to realize that in the end we all are so alike...

Now I'm looking to do the opposite. Travel in various countries and meet locals. :)

I filled up the application with all the accompanying documents for French citizenship. Try it... you'll see. Tears of joy when they finally announce you that you brought every single document. :P

Besides the obvious (couch/space), I can show you around the city (much better in the summer time or spring). If I don't have the time or the energy I can give you information about where to go, give you maps, prepare you a sandwich for the road, and try to stay with you spiritually when you're out there in the city :)
