ABOUT ME

Both my husband and I love the exploration of cities and cultures. I believe that travel always teaches.

I started a project called Dsplaced with a friend a few years ago and it has been a great journey. We've asked people their definition of the idea of 'home', of belonging and people's stories and definitions helped me realise that home is wherever you are and whatever makes you happy. I've lived in 9 different cities in over the last 10 years. I love traveling.
I love it when moving to a new city takes you completely out of your comfort zone. It's almost like starting over. Meeting new people, trying new cuisines, learning a new language. The romance of it all keeps me going.

I want to do more of it in 2015.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love hosting. Because hosting means, meeting wonderful people filled with stories of travel in their veins.
I like to live through people's stories. Then I take those stories with me when I travel to a new place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't ever visited a couchsurfer. I look forward to doing that this year.
So far, I've only hosted and its made me realise that besides the stories of other cities, the city I live in has so much newness to offer. It's been a great experience so far.
