Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of getting to know the culture while traveling and I feel that Couchsurfing is excellent for this. I used Airbnb for years and I am very happy about it, but I hope that couchsurfing will get me more time with locals, more authentic food and get me to the places that only crazy locals know :)

On the other hand I have lived in three countries already, so if you want to know something new about life in the United Kingdom, Denmark or Lithuania I am glad to help!

Unfortunately with my current housing situation (one room for me and my fiancee) I cannot have anybody over at my place.

To any of the hosts that are concerned - I do not have any dietary allergies and absolutely love pets (the same applies to my fiancee that I am usually traveling with)!

Books:
Never find enough time for this and feel really guilty about it... But best enjoy travelling diaries, contemporary fiction and reader- friendly biographies, books on science, art, music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel I am too young to teach anything to anybody. Maybe just how to play some instruments :)

Keen to learn anything about culture, science, politics, etc. - whatever you are glad to share me! Anything that is really exciting and makes you special.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experience from living 18 years in country probably few know anything about (Lithuania). Any special requests of traditional food & drink from Lithuania or Denmark are welcome :)

I have no signature dishes, but I enjoy cooking, often improvised with what I can get hold of (9/10 turns out pretty well!).
