PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we are all people capable of wonderful things. We are an impressive creation and have been given the gift of creating through words, music, arts, and many other ways of expression. Traveling and relating to others is a need for me, because through that I get to know some more about my part in this world, my link both to nature and to humans, and that helps me understand God's love and grace.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been so far an indirect couchsurfer. I share a flat with three other friends and through one of them I became aware of couchsurfing, so we received a lot of people at home. This has been wonderful, I really enjoy sharing life experiences with people, getting to know their culture and language, and most of all sharing meals, cooking and knowing a little bit more about their gastronomy. Now I am also hopeful to be a host for many others.

Interessen

I love to read and walk. Most of the time I spend it in a research institute where I am a PhD student and in my free time I go to the beach (now that it is summer) or ride my bike. I also enjoy spending time with friends, cooking and talking.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love latin music, mostly cumbia and salsa because I have so much fun dancing. I also enjoy electronic. Much more than genres, I prefer certain artists, but I am always open to listening new stuff.

I have no favorite movie, I like so many that it is not possible to rank them. I can say some tittles: Black Cat White Cat (E. Kusturika), Rodrigo D. No Futuro (V. Gaviria), The Man Without a Past (A. Kaurismaki), In The Mood For Love (W.K. Wai), Scoop (W. Allen), and many others.
