COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had quite a good share of guests at my place, it's been always a nice experience. I've only surfed few times, but it's a totally different approach to discover a city when you are staying at a "home".

Music, mostly indie/independent.
Cinema, from Almodovar to Todd Solondz.
Sports, football of course, tennis and basketball.

Too much good music out there to be discovered, a few all-time favourites: Sigur Ros, Portishead, dEUS, Nick Cave, Tindersticks...

Last bands to rock my world: Local Natives, Beirut, Arcade Fire, Anne Brun, all nordic melancholic pop (Sigur Ros, Efterklang, Mum, Anja Garbarek, Hanne Hukelberg, etc).

I love descovering exciting new music, specially groups local to the country I'm visiting. Any tips on that particular discovery journey are welcome :)

Some all-time favourite movies: Happiness, Trainspotting, Cidade de Deus, Festen, ...

TV comedies: Seinfeld, Simpsons, Gato Fedorento (Portuguese), Monty Phytons, currently addicted to Family Guy.
