ABOUT ME

I love people who have a good story to tell. When I travel, I really enjoy a beautiful, unknown scenery, but what's really left after each trip is the people I come across - locals and travelers. The funkier the better.
I have my own share of traveling done. I am now living in Montreal but am open to set foot somewhere else for the right lifestyle - and that won't be determined by an employer or a salary. I know little about music, but am always open to know some more. I know more about books.
My superpower is I can sleep anywhere.

I've been couchsurfing and hosting for a few years now... just not within the network. I finally joined to make it happen even more. Love the idea!

Interests

Nothing beats a good day outdoors. Anything from soccer, jogging + yoga, swimming (preferably open water), sail or surf will put a big smile in my face when I have that late afternoon beer.
As I said, books. Not the pretentious, wordy, too philosophical ones. I like descriptive, real stories, biographies, histories with unique points of view. Lately I've read Dave Eggers, Gabriel Garcia Marques and Isabel Allende. I collect graphics: all sorts of printed stuff, packaging, typography, bits and pieces of curiously designed things. If I can,t take it with me I photograph it or draw it. Oh yes, I also draw.

Sailed across the Atlantic. Twice. And sailed quite a bit, mostly Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I went to school most of my life. What I really like to learn is the practical things of life: show me how to play a new sport, a new game, show me how to fix a toaster or an engine or drive on the left side of the road, give me some tips to surf better, tell me about the places google would have never found...
