Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hello,
My name is Manuel Donada and I´m a nomad illustrator and graphic designer from Madrid. I´m constantly moving.
Since 2014 I have been traveling around drawing at cafes, friend´s and people´s houses, streets, bars, stores, etc. The feedback and reaction to my drawings has been amazing so that is why I have decided to make it a real thing giving it a real shape, turn it into something that will last forever in time and space, take a step further and bring it to the next level.
· Most of my drawings are fast doodles and sketches that really reflect what Im going through and specially where I am at that specific moment. What surrounds me its crucial, it feeds the essence of evey line, what happens to me is a strong reason why I draw so that is why moving is important.
// My idea is simple:
Surviving Pangea is a nomadic art project, a journey to 12 different cities around the world in order to create a 150 pages sketchbook of each specific location.
By the end of this peregrination 12 books will be completed for a total of 1,800 pages.
( I Have already released 3 of them).
Food, a place to sleep, a good chat, etc is welcome. I love meeting new people!
