ABOUT ME

Always curious to try something new, now and then up for some crazy stuff.

I like spending my time outdoors, hiking, inline skating, dancing, started with sailing, and I passionately love skiing!

Too nice for this world, as some people say. Take food away from me and you'll see some less pleasant sides of me. Unreliable people also better stay away from me.

Besides being an active person, I also need more quiet hours, reading, enjoying a nice dinner (yes, I'm a "bon vivant"!) and conversations with friends, talking and laughing about the big and the small things of everyday life.

As much as I like exploring new places, I do need a place called home. My home is my castle...

I'm happy to show you my home country, home city, or simply offer a place to sleep.
Being hosted in an unknown place is something I appreciate very, very much! I'm still overwhelmed by how open and welcoming CouchSurfers are - even on a first meeting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted in Den Haag and had the best time I could have wished for. I was offered an insight into life and people in Den Haag and was simply mesmerised :-)

Then I was happy to have the opportunity to show my home town Solothurn - yet for a couple of hours only - to a dear CouchSurfer friend.

Interests

I like outdoors like skiing (passionately!!), trekking, inline skating and only learned sailing. Then I like dancing, reading, languages, traveling round the world.

Love good food, my favourites are Italian, Indian, Thai, Balinese...

Diving into the North Sea on New Year's day at 7 Celsius at the Nieuwjaarsduik in Scheveningen (NL) with 10'000 other crazy people.
