Actually this profile is about us, Manuel and Katharina. We have been a couple for quite some time now and are living together with Katharinas grandparents in a rural part of South Berlin.
We are very open-minded and easy going, love to meet new people and cook!
We love listening to music and watching a movie now and then in the evening.
But there are many more things that you can discover yourself!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In September 2014 Manuel had his first CS experience in Mumbai while his trip to India with his sister. It was just great! They loved talking to people they barely knew.
As their trip approached they did CS a lot more and it was everywhere as great as on the first day!
After that we started to couchsurf every time we had a job in another city in Germany and after a while started to host ourselves (under her old profile though).
Just recently we went to Vietnam and tried couchsurfing there and yet again we made some good friends and loved the time!
We find the idea of a Couchsurfing community wonderful. It opens new possibilities for travel and cultural insights.

Katharina:
I love to travel and try new things. I have been bartending for years and enjoy getting creatively crazy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Among other various things we experienced in several countries, the one thing that would fit perfectly here, would be our 2700 km motorbike tour through northern Thailand. That was absolutely stunning! Especially driving through small villages whose population seemed to have never seen a white guy.
