ABOUT ME

Well, they might say that I'm kind, honest, easy-going and friendly. I don't know if this is so, but I do know I'm always there for them and I'm pretty good at listening to them. This doesn't mean that I'm a quiet person -at all. In fact, I love to speak, always trying to say something meaningful. I don't get into controversy; I definitely prefer friendly conversations. My two mottos could be 'treat people as you'd like them to treat you' and 'when in Rome, do as the Romans do'.

兴趣

I've got two passions: languages and music.
I'm a teacher of English at a school for adults and I absolutely love my job. I'm always endeavouring to update and improve my level, so I try to travel as much as I can and I do my best to stay in touch with my friends overseas.
I also speak French and some Portuguese, but don't expect a great level!

As for music, I don't make a living out of it, as I'm not a professional, but it IS my best hobby ever! I used to play in different wind orchestras and I truly enjoyed the experience.

I also enjoy reading, travelling, hanging out with friends and doing anything that can be fun or enriching.

I listen to lots of classical -probably my favourite- but also to some pop, folk, indie, jazz...
Some of the best films I've seen are 'Requiem for a Dream', 'The Silence of the Lambs', 'The Danish Girl', 'Jurassic Park'...
I enjoy reading in different languages and not necessarily fiction. I tend to read about linguistics, music and travel and, as for fiction, I really liked titles such as 'A Hundred Years of Solitude', 'The Perfume' or 'A Brave New World'.

If I have to pick a couple of places, Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in Vancouver or the Cappadocian Valleys in Turkey.
Important moments in my life: my Erasmus experience back in 2004 and the recent birth of my supercute nephew!
Amazing people: my friends and my sister!
