ABOUT ME

Well I’m Manuel and I’m still at High school. I like to have contrasts in my life. Sometimes I need a lot of people around me and/or listening to loud music and dancing like crazy. Sometimes I prefer to be on my own just thinking, read a book or spoil the vegetables in my garden. Sometimes I feel like talking nonsense, being stupid, making absurd, funny things but I also like to have deep conversations or to participate in serious political events. Sometimes I like to feel reality and nature, to be awaked in my hammock next to a foggy river from the singing birds in the morning. Sometimes I like to drift away from reality with a good film, book or a complex card game. Sometimes I’m ready for any kind of adventure and to discover the whole world. Sometimes I try to discover myself. And sometimes I feel like doing all of these things at the same time.

Interests

I’m interested in myself, who am I and how I like to live my live. I don’t know yet and maybe I will never know, so I have always something interesting to do. I think alternative social sistems are very interesting. The way we live is certainly wrong we have to try out something else. I’m also interested in other peoples, how they live, think, feel and see the world, I think they can teach me a lot. I’m interested in nature, mountains, rivers, plants, animals (especially insects my pets are ants). I’m also interested in Jiu-Jitsu climbing and almost every kind of game. And for sure I’m very interested in travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is reggae music, roots reggae and dub. I really like the sound system culture: sweet reggae music is played all over the world! Great artists are: Jah Shaka, Aba Shanti I, The Disciples.
I like a lot of other musicians as well: Augustus Pablo, Manu Chao, Cat Stevens, Calle 13, Manana Me Chanto, Joint Venture, Hannes Wader, Mani Matter…..
There are also lot of different books I like I read from fantasy to philosophy to nonfiction books.
I love well painted anime films like studio Ghibli produces. My favourite movie is Spirited away. But I like many others as well: The lord of the rings, Into the wild, The wakens , Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amelie Poulin….

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
