Overview
About Me
I'm a Pizza-Pretzel. Half German, half Italian, grew up hiking in the Italian Alps and then moved below sea-level to the Netherlands, where I loved to cycle around the country to explore the tiniest and prettiest towns. In general, I am craving for the small joys of life. Such could be a buttery brioche with strawberry jam, or a blooming daisy on the way to work. I like to listen to other peoples stories, tell my own, and share a good laugh.
I worked as a teacher, designer, chef and tour guide (which was the best job ever!) and am now finally on the road again to explore some more of those hidden gems that life has to offer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Around 10 years ago, I had my first adventures on couchsurfing.
I got introduced to it by my aunt who was hosting and I was stunned by the amazing people that came to stay. So when I went on a trip around Taiwan I gave it a try myself, and what can I say, I had the time of my life. I met the loveliest people that i still call my friends to this day. When I returned to Italy, I started hosting to continue to feel like traveling, even though I wasn't on the road myself anymore.
Now, after studying and working for a while, I am back on the adventure track ;) looking to reconnect to my traveling self and meeting, sharing, caring, laughing together with the kindhearted souls that inhabit this platform.
