My name is Manuel, I am 26 years old, have been born in a small village close to Dortmund in Germany (named Lenningsen) and am about to finish my economics master studies in Cologne. During my bachelors I did a semester abroad in Washington, DC. Besides my studies I am working part-time as a DJ for weddings, birthdays, and company celebrations. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have always wanted to try out Couchsurfing, because a lot of my friends recommended me doing this. But sadly, I never managed to do so. Accidentally, I have to spend two days in NYC without any obligations, and I would like to make my first experience with Couchsurfing.

I like to run, swim and bike, did my first marathon last year and am currently training for my second marathon and am thinking about doing my first triathlon.

Since I am a DJ for weddings and birthdays, I listen to a lot of different kinds of music. I prefer for clubbing house music, but I also like charts, 90es music, and electro swing. During daytime I also listen to acoustic music, soul, jazz and sometimes classical music.

I recently watched The Hateful Eight by Quentin Tarantino and was totally amazed by this movie. I also like his other ones. But actually, I do not watch many movies or TV shows. Instead I prefer working out ;-)

Finishing a marathon in 3:12. Doing a cycling tour from Podgorica in Montenegro to Salzburg in Austria. Hitchhiking from my home village Lenningsen in Germany to Pamplona in Spain with my best friend. Traveling through many Western European countries after my A-level for about 2 month with two of my best friends.
