I am from Bogotá, Colombia, but lived in multiple cities around my home-country when I was young. I moved to India in 2015 to attend an international high school which promotes peace and a sustainable future by uniting people from around the world. I am currently studying social sciences in the United States, in a small liberal arts school in Minnesota. Last semester I was living and studying in a ship, with which I visited eleven countries.

In general, I am interested in the arts, history, and philosophy. I have played the guitar for about ten years. I love travelling, hiking, and meeting people all around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling has taught me that meeting people in their countries is the best way to immerse myself within a culture. I believe Couchsurfing is a great platform to better understand a place and its traditions by connecting with locals. I want to meet people who could provide me with a different perspective and enhance my experience of a country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can play the guitar for you, cook some traditional Colombian food, and share plenty of stories from when I lived in India, traveled in a ship around the world, hiked the Himalayas, and backpacked around Europe.
