I am from Kathmandu, Nepal, currently living in the US. I love to travel, read translated literatures from around the world, and try out new fun things. I love to meet people from around the world and have good conversations. I can talk about all sorts of things—history, arts, philosophy, politics, Kanye West, Dodge Coin, you name it :P

I'm very observant and consider myself to be a good listener. I people watch and ask a lot of questions. I also love to hear people's travel stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always been extremely curious about people's way of life. How they live, what they eat, how they grew up. Couchsurfing, in my opinion, is a great platform that allows you to be a part of someone else's life. It is a rugged way of traveling but also a more authentic one. I am looking to meet interesting people along the way, and pick up something cool from everyone I encounter.
Nepali people really pride themselves in their hospitality, and I am looking forward big time to start hosting surfers. As a student, I have a pretty unstable housing situation. But once I can make it though this period of my life, I would love to open up my couch to people. In the mean time, I am happy to meet up and take surfers around in Kathmandu, when I am there of course. :))

Music, Movies, and Books

I started reading a lot of Classical Mythology for a class I took in college and right now I really like the Aenied (Virgil) and Metamorphosis (Ovid).

Movies: I'm not a big movie person but I love Call my your Name and The Great Gatsby (the books are ridiculously good too!)
