ABOUT ME

I am Marie Anne a Filipina, based and working in Cambodia for almost 9 years now. I'm managing a production house and still works as s TV commercial producer for ad agencies. I also direct and write scripts on the side. I love to travel. whenever my schedules allows it. I've been all over Asia. I've been to Myanmar or Burma, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Singapore, Japan, China, Laos, Indonesia ( Jakarta & Bali) and Malaysia.I've been to some parts of Europe, USA and Latin America.

I am planning to go to Spain, Rome & Tuscany (Italy) sometime sometime soon...

When I get old I would like to retire and buy a house in a beach front. I would take photographs and write short stories or poetry. And hopefully cuddle with someone I really love.

Just like other girls I love shopping for clothes, bags and shoes. Last but not the least I love to read good books and a good coffee will surely make my day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It was my friend Michelle who introduced me to CS. It"s kinda cool then decided to join. I am not active for the past few years.
Hopefully I'll get a chance to be hosted in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As of today I have no complaints with all the CS that I have hosted.

To be honest I chose the people I will host. I trust my instinct. There will be times that I can't host because of my work or I may be out of the country! And if I don't have the time because of my schedule, I'd rather not. I make it a point to be a good host. I have enough time to show them around and have a good conversation

Intereses

I love scuba diving (licensed open water diver. I've tried almost everything. I am a certified mountaineer (in collage. I'm eclectic. I love variations. So, in terms of interest, whatever is there,I am willing to try anything . I did surfing in Bali in 2010. It was awesome. Wake boarding done. Bungee jumping in Dubai soooooon.

Música, películas y libros

MOVIES in depends on my mood. I could watch heavy stuff and even brain candy movies. I also like art films from different parts of the world.

Music,very wide range. I am into rock and roll, world music, techno, alternative, even opera. Spare me from pop songs though.

When it comes to books, all sorts. As i've said i'm very eclectic. Reading is the only vice i could afford for the past months due to my hectic schedule. I just finished recently IQ84 by Haruki Murakami. I just bought a new one by Kazuo Ishiguro titled When We Were Orphans. Recently I am into Japanese writers for some good reasons.
