ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year-old originally from Boulder, Colorado. I have also lived in Connecticut, California, Oregon, Washington, and Australia over the past 6 years. Beginning in late July 2008, I will become a full time physics grad student working on renewable energy in Santa Cruz, California. Until then I plan to travel in Peru.

I am an outdoors enthusiast (hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in '07), and I just love mountains. I am a considerate, easy-going guy with a taste for new experiences.

In addition to travel I am always looking for opportunities to volunteer and to learn about music and sustainable housing and farming.

Right now I am just a traveler, however I plan to have couch available in Santa Cruz, California as of September '08.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am amazed at the kindness that I have received from complete strangers. While hiking from Mexico to Canada, I had numerous folks take me in, give me rides, feed me, wash my clothes, and offer their friendship. These experiences reawakened my faith in humanity, and I eagerly await opportunities to pay the kindness forward.

I don't require much. I am a relatively hearty and adventurous soul. I am open to all kinds of couch surfing experiences.
