About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Going to Iceland in February with my fantastic partner. Looking for a queer-friendly place!
ABOUT ME
Generally regarded as a femme-type person, I'm a non-ironic social justice warrior. Big reader, not yet a big writer. Fan of tea, cats, coffee, old-looking furniture, snow and wind.
De type "expression de genre féminine", je suis une social justice warrior non-ironique. Grande lectrice, pas encore une grande auteure. Fan de café, de chats, de thé, de vieux meubles, de neige et de vent.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a liberal-minded person; you could say I'm on the "left" spectrum of the politics axe. I give a lot (a LOT) of importance to feminism, and live my life trying to question everything relating to gender roles and traditional "ways", whatever they may be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To encourage non-capitalist travel :D
To learn about new places in the awesomest way: with locals!
To meet Montreal travelers, visitors or future residents!
Interests
I love reading, watching series, writing when I can/want, spending time with my friends. I enjoy dancing as much as staying in with my pyjamas. I think the thing I like most is interesting people: I could talk and listen to them for hours on end.

Music, Movies, and Books
- Novels and such: I'd rather not answer. I'll take a picture of my bookcase if you insist, I love too many to list!
- (In no particular order) Alt-J, Feist, Broken Bells, Arcade Fire, Basia Bulat, CHVRCHES, Half-Moon Run, Socalled, Tegan and Sara, Daughter, Feist, Grimes, Mother Mother, ... etc, etc.,
- Fair warning: I've watched Pride and Prejudice (the BBC mini-series) and Anne of Green Gables (1st and 2nd) a trillion times. I love Firefly and Buffy the Vampire Slayer with all my heart!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the process of publishing a novel!
Teach, Learn, Share
I did my masters on the presence of polyamory (or types of non-monogamy) in recent Quebec literature. I can read you an excerpt I guess? I can also tell you a lot about the state of LGBT rights in Quebec. It's sort of my cup of tea.
What I Can Share with Hosts
All about queer rights in Quebec (:D), Montreal's nicest coffeeshops and museums, hidden gems outside the city...
Feminist thoughts and experiences.
Many, many books.
