I am here in Nanjing for my PhD, I am an easy going, quick to adapt with the environment, pretty introvert though , a nature which I am not fond of and want to overcome and improve my skills at making new friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually to improve my understanding of this world and ultimately my ownself ... when I look around at different people from different backgrounds they make me think about a picture which is made up of different colours and it's the mixture of colours that brings about the beauty of that picture, similarly, different people representing different cultures are like the colours of that picture and I believe, that is what makes this world beautiful. So we can only anticipate this beauty when we will try to know the impact of each colour, so meeting different people will help us better understand the world...
Couchsurfing greatly facilitates this cause..and I also hope it can also provide means to end my reluctance of interaction with new people...
