The main reason I joined Couchsurfing is that I would like to learn about other cultures, customs, and languages!! And of course, make new friends! :)

Cooking: It is my second nature.

Sports and Martial Arts: When I was younger I practiced a lot Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing.
I love practice outdoor sports (running, cycling etc ) or indoor ones when the weather doesn't permit me to do the outdoors ones.

Languages: My motivation for languages started from the fact that I would like to interact with more people and one dream I have is to read my favorite authors in their original language! Unfortunately, in this period of time, I do not have the time to spend in a foreign language :( but I hope soon I will start to study a new one. So the next languages I would like to learn are Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Italian, Mandarin.

Traveling: In general, I prefer to travel and stay in a foreign country for a long period (>6 months) in order to have a better understanding of the regional lifestyle and culture! But I am also open to short trips like the one I did 3 years ago in Rome (2 days) or the other in Turkey (Ayvalik, 1 day).

I like rock - metal (Apocalyptica, Pink Floyd), classic (Yimura, Satie, Philip Glass etc) jazz, chill out music and Bob Dylan discography. In my free time, a enjoy reading literature!
Some of my favorite ones are: Don Quixote, Anna Karenina, Meditations (Marcus Aurelius), Tao Te Ching (Lao Tse), Dhammapada , Alice in Wonderland, poems (Rumi, Pablo Neruda, Tagore), Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass an American Slave, Iliad, Faust, Brave New World, The Little Prince.

I can teach you the Greek and English language and of course traditional Greek recipes and nice combinations with herbs and spices. Moreover, I can share with you, my knowledge about the environment and especially about the ocean!
I would like to learn about art, traditions, and customs of other countries, foreign languages or improve the already I know. Generally, I am open to new experiences and adventures!!
