Hello:) I'm Mara. I live in Verona with my family. I study languages at the University of Verona and I am graduating next year so now I'm starting planning what to do after even if the term future is a kind of blurred word. If I have to describe myself in few words I would say that I am an optimistic and simple person. I always try to find the silver lining of what happens to me and I consider simplicity a means to live my life in the best way.

I love listening to music and go to concerts. I've started to play guitar but I'm really bad at it:) I also like art a lot. I went to a lot of exhibitions and I can say that my favourite movement is impressionism.

Music, Movies, and Books

Every kind of music! I also like movies a lot and I prefer going to the cinema instead of watching them on tv. I don't have a favourite movie but one of the latest that I really love is "Midnight in Paris" by Woody Allen. I like reading but I don't like boring books:) I prefer books that make me dreaming. One of my favourite writers is the journalist Tiziano Terzani. I've read a lot of his books and publications.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived and studied in Edinburgh for 9 months thanks to the Erasmus project.
