ABOUT ME

I LOVE TO TRAVEL! Therefore I always searched for possibilities to leave The Netherlands during the last 8 years.
When I was 18 years old I made a journey of 9 months in Central America. During my bachelor I did an internship of 6 months in Spain. Another 3 months in South Africa followed for research. And two years later I went 3 months to Ghana for my master research.
Currently I’m traveling in South America (since November 2017).

Teach, Learn, Share: 3 of the most important things in life. Especially during traveling.
As a cultural (and medical) anthropologist I’m fascinated by people and their cultures (religion, habits, tradition...). Observing people as they go about their lives, spending time with them, having conversations and trying to understand them. Trying to find out what is going on under the surface.

Completed my bachelor Cultural Anthropology and a minor 'Communication about Health'. After that I did a Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Anthropology and a Master of Arts (MA) in Care Ethics and Health.
