HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was lucky to have many fantastic experiences being a guest in couchsurfing hosts' homes for a few months in 2013 in Europe. Now that I've gotten a chunk of traveling done, I want to be able to start hosting people when I have my own place.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I hiked through some of the Scottish Highlands in 2011. Pretty much everything there is beautiful.

I spent 6 months on a family farm in Helmshore, England in late 2013 through WWOOF UK. I worked with animals, managed two large gardens, and worked with local volunteers and special needs students on the farm. It's impossible to say exactly how much I learned there, and I'm incredibly thankful to everyone who housed me, fed me, taught me, and trusted me.

I cook! I make all kinds of art and would love to share those skills. I had a great experience with WWOOF in Northern England and have lots of gardening skills from my time on the farm.

I would love to expand my skills with other languages, and I would always be up for doing more gardening and learning about how all of you gardeners learned your stuff— necessity, family tradition, therapy, activism, etc.
