ABOUT ME

I lived in New York City for four years. I taught high school Spanish. I quit in September 2011 and began my travels in Peru, then down through Argentina into Patagonia. I spent two months in Chile, learned how to make alfajores, also how to walk and camp on a glacier. Upon return to the USA I went to Yosemite National Park and got a job at the lodge there. I worked there for the summer and now I am back on the road and looking for something more permanent.

There is a lot I love about the city, but I also crave the outdoors. I like to spend my time rock climbing, practicing yoga, reading and lately a lot of baking also.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the community, hoping to get more involved in the remainder of my current travels. When I get settled again someday I plan to start hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was in Puerto Montt, Chile. I am convinced it is an amazing way to travel, for a much richer experience.
