I just moved to the DMV area from the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. I went to college mostly in Pennsylvania, but I also spent a semester living in Quito, Ecuador. I have moved a lot in my life, so I never spent more than several years in one place. I think it's made me a more adaptable and adventurous person. Traveling to new places is one of my favorite things! I love learning new languages... I speak fluent Spanish and I'm working on learning Italian. In the future I want to learn Portuguese and French as well! I've been playing the piano for as long as I can remember; I can't read notes very well but I play by ear and I can play for hours at a time. I enjoy cooking and eating, I've been a vegetarian my whole life. My favorite drinks are iced coffee, red wine, and IPA's.
