About Me

I am a 29 years old university student who recently moved to London from the great white north. I'll be working full time while also writing my thesis during my time in the UK. I love to move around and live plenty of new things. If something can be learned, I want to learn it. New cultures, new skills, new adventures... There is just so much to see and do!

I've travelled a few places, worked here and there, met a whole lot of interesting people, shared meal and music with them and I hope to keep it going!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed a few couches yet mostly with stranger that picked me up on the side of the road. Hitchhiking is a great way to go around! Always been good experiences; so many interesting individuals!

I am on couch surfing for this reason: meet with others! At the core of every countries are the people. Want to experience a new place? Meet the people! It is the best part of it all, right?

Interests

All, I simply love it all!

I am an avid reader; love to play music (I play the guitar and get around most strings instrument, recently really got into the banjo); cooking is great although I am awful at it; sports of all sorts make me happy (ice-hockey, climbing, canoeing, running around for the sake of it); travelling is one of the things I love most; writing; sharing a drink or two (or three... four...); anything, really!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Everything works. There is no good or bad music; only the right music for the right situation.

This being said, I have the weirdest combination of music taste. I love country music (the very cheesy one) and heavy metal. Why!? I don't know... It kind of just works for me... I am yet to find a band that successfully combines the two genre.

Movies:
I don't know movies. At one point of my life, I saw all the Disney movies. I then grew older and saw the Rambo and Rocky movies. I saw a lot of movies beginning, not that much endings. I guess I am more into series. The Office (UK and US, they both work), now, that is some good stuff.

Books:
Mostly old school French authors and American. Zola is my favorite. Shoutout to Victor Hugo and Saint-Exupéry. Hemingway, Steinbeck, Kerouac, Melville. There are too many good books out there

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got some stories. I'd rather discuss them around a drink because a simple description would not honor them sufficiently.

Teach, Learn, Share

Would really like to develop my spanish and I am very interested in learning new languages.

However, if you got any skills (even if its not a skill, but just something you do and love), I want to learn!

What I can teach? I don't know... Anything that come out from my interests I guess. I can teach you French (but the Canadian one), to ice-skate, how to cook a mean poutine

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to share your passions! There is nothing more exciting than being with someone who is excited about something.
