I currently work in New Orleans but am originally from the Baltimore - Washington DC area and have lived in Indianapolis and Dublin, Ireland. I've done extensive traveling during my previous job and while I lived in Europe.

I am a pretty laid back, outgoing guy who likes meeting people, chatting over a few drinks at a bar, hitting the occasional club, sports, the gym, beaches, among other things. I'm always ready to show and be shown a good time and night on the town. I love to live up life and take in the stories of the people I meet.

I get that couch surfing isn't as popular in the US, especially in the southern states. So I'll do my best to welcome people to my apartment but I do work full time and also rent out the space on Air BnB to help pay rent. But I'm happy to host someone interesting who is looking to have a great experience in New Orleans.

Since I will be spending the majority of my year on the road, in various regions of the US, I would love to meet up with locals. I do have places to stay (but on college campuses) while I'm working but would love to spend a night or two periodically with a local resident to enjoy a night out or learn about the local area.

I also spent a year living in Europe and learned how awesome travelling is and how many chill people there are all over the world. But I've also realized how expensive it can get. I'm a believer in saving the money in some areas so you can truly place your budget on the experiences, nights out, the food, and whatever else your in to.

I like a lot of music but mostly in to the top 40, country, reggae, and club music when the time is right. I'm more of a tv series guy: Friday Night Lights, Lie to Me, The Returned, Modern Family, some others but I'm more a go out and do things kind of guy.

I'm a bartender and physical education major (sports, nutrition, fitness) - you can't go wrong with a friend that is knowledgeable in both of those areas.
