I am Marc, a vegan bicycle traveller from Switzerland. Since July 2019, I am again travelling by bicycle. This is not my first journey by bicycle: In 2014, I cycled for 3 months in Northern Europe; from June 2015 to June 2017, I was travelling in Eurasia; from March 2018 to April 2019, I was travelling in Eurasia again.

From November 2017 to February 2018, I lived in Berne (Switzerland) in an empty office building (with improvised kitchen as well as an improvised shower) and I could host several people.

Currently I am stuck in the south of China (Jinghong) and I try to figure out if there is a way for me to stay longer in China.

Originally, I wanted to offer the opportunity to you to stay in Switzerland with a local guy. As well, I'd like to stay with locals when I am travelling so that I don't have to pay for accommodation.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

On my last trip (March 2018 to April 2019), I biked and hiked in the far north east of Afghanistan (together with my partner), I spent 23 days alone in the wilderness without seeing people and I spent the winter in Kazakhstan and Siberia, where I cycled on/around the frozen Lake Baikal.
